Before you quote, gather the lane, weight, dimensions, packaging details, and any special handling needs. A few extra minutes here usually saves a lot more time later.

Core details

Origin ZIP, destination ZIP, total weight, piece count, dimensions, and whether the shipment is boxed or palletized.

Accessorial questions

Is either side residential? Is a liftgate needed? Are there timing, dock, or delivery restrictions that change the carrier fit?
